- 1. How did you first become acquainted with the Church of
Scientology?
- I got in thru my father and my mother who were
both fanatics of L. Ron Hubbard. They had bought into his 'tech' hook
line and sinker and though at the time I was a small young boy, I was
extremely impressed when I saw the 1st man in his navy sea org uniform,
I do believe his name was Arnie Lerma, yes, I'll never forget that
moment; a very good looking young man. One is very impressionable as a
young man and I KNEW one day I wanted to be part of Ron's Navy from
that day! And the rest is history, as 'they' say. Oh and I'm STILL a
small young boy :] Even tho my mother called me lil tyrant and lil
hitler when I was a boy.
- 2. What initially appealed to you about scientology?
- well, besides the uniform I think it was the
power, I mean the level of responsibility that even I as a young man
could have if I decided to accept it and well, have that level of
responsibility and as time passed and I took on more and more of this
power - which is, by the way, it's powerful stuff when one accepts
responsibility as I have had to on ALL dynamics. It's not been easy to
fill these boots. But it's been very satisfactory and very worthwhile.
But the initial appeal was the responsibility. And of course the tech.
- 3. Were there problems in your life that you thought
scientology would address?
- The usual stuff a kid in a metropolitan American city goes thru:
the drugs, the animal mutilations; I was never much into the
lifestyle of the gang. I was young though and I was able to get out of
all that at an early age and worked and learned right under the old
man. And look at me now: I'm married, have the security AND
RESPONSIBILITY of the church and all its affiliated organizations which
provide a continual cash flow that allows me to continue to expand the
aims of Scientology throughout the world. And thanks to 'Ron and the
tech' I never get sick or become PTS, as we say in Scientology; so I'm
in perfect health.
- 4. Did you see, experience, or hear about things that didn't
seem right while you were in the Church of Scientology? What were
they, and what convinced you to set aside your feelings?
- Well, I've heard a lot of negative stuff about
Scientology, mostly on the net by disgruntled ex members and other
raving lunatic SPs which abound on this medium along with the assorted
conglomeration of crazies which attach themselves to both of these and
other groups such as the Electronic Freedom Frontier and other speech
advocacy groups. Look, Scientology is all about Communication. It's one
of the most important parts or tenets of the church that communication
is sacred and it's one of the 3 parts of our A-R-C triangle (the other
two being affinity & reality); in other words, extremely important.
But when others start attacking the church, even if it's verbally, we
just simply cannot tolerate this because it only demostrates these
peoples' 'religious intolerance.'
Now, other things have been alleged about our organizations and
the treatment of children and adults alike and I would like a chance to
prove this is NOT so by giving anyone a tour of anything they'd like to
inspect and to please give me 2 weeks advance to prepare. Thank you.
I think we should have the freedom to practice our beliefs even if
some people sometimes get hurt because that's happened in every
movement and we shouldn't be any different or treated like that: The
Golden Rule
- 5. Why did you choose to stay in the Church of
Scientology?
- The money?! No LoL, I'm teasing. I love what I
do and I enjoy the responsibility and I don't think Scientology is all
that bad. I think it's great! I know it's been the best job I've ever
had but it's not only that but a crusade; a crusade for Freedom!
Freedom for the individual, for the group. Scientology is the game
where everyone wins! Noone loses in Scientology. When you donate
whether for a cause (and we have MANY causes) or your next step on the
Bridge(TM) you're winning...because that money's going straight to ...
you know, doing great things! The greatest good for the greatest number
and that's why I choose to stay and befriend this group of individuals
who are IN-ETHICS and proud to give a hand to mankind's greatest friend
who's offered us through his tech and studies of the spititual aspects
of man, a glimmer of hope whose light shines bright across the chasm.
Thank you.
- 6. Were you staff or public? If staff, was it at a mission or
an org? Were you ever in the Sea Org or OSA? Which unit? If not on
staff, did you ever volunteer to 'help out'?
- I'm STILL staff and will always be. I don't
think this question applies to me but I'll say this: Anyone who wants
to return to Scientology from either here or anywhere in the freezone
or on the net wherever you may be, I am AS OF NOW offering 'Amnesty to
All.' It's a great new program I'm instituting to go along with the
government's new treaties with Mexico and Canada, NAFTA and the like
and also in accordance with the President's intentions to allow all
mexicans to come to this country and have AMNESTY & benefits, etc.
Medical, college for the kids all that kind of stuff that sometimes
even American children don't get - it's amazing! Wonderful! Because
Scientology must get in step with the times and the New World Order
which is upon us and join the North American Union (NAU) - heck we may
even have to get the constitution translated to spanish; nah, just
throw that old document away, we haven't used it in a while nohow. And
who needs Habeas Corpus? We definitely don't use it in the church when
we detain someone in the RPF or worse, the RPF's RPF. Of course,
besides my post now as RTC COB and soon to be Admiral as soon as I
finish my hat, my favorite post in Scientology was when I headed the
INT FINANCE POLICE thru Wendell Reynolds. Those were the days! And
working with Ron too, of course (g) I worked with him along with others
untill we got it right - we made it go right and,
well................the rest is history!
- 7. Why did you leave the Church of Scientology? Was there a
"final straw"?
- I haven't reached that so called 'final straw'
I suppose it could happen if say, Meade keeps getting on my case to
MAKE MORE MONEY as he has been lately. He applies that policy even more
ruthlessly than the ole man. Maybe he was right about these 'tax
cruds,' I was just desperate to save Scientology and paid the IRS $20
million dollars, allowed to install their Tax Compliance Officers in
each church and I turned around to the flock and announced a GREAT
VICTORY over the IRS - they bought it too so it's the GREATEST GOOD!
And we're still here [around] ;)
- 8. Do you think the Church of Scientology needs to change some
of its practices? If so, what should be changed? How did those
practices affect your life?
- Well, and this is related to the above
question, only thing that s-u-c-k-s if you will, is = AND I'm going to
push for this to change - we should stop culling folders for dirt on
people who leave the church or are declared SP because God forbid some
of the things that Tom & I have done could easily be mis-construed,
if you know what I mean?! And Meade would - I mean, if I ever... You
know? If say, Tom and Katie... in the future - I'm not saying. Ahh,
it'll never happen. And Travolta is too tall. But I owuld change that -
nothing else though! Cause the tech may not be perfect but it's
workable and we should leave it so - the thing can be worked. And we
can always improve conditions cause we're Scientologists and that's
what we do and the Goldne Age of Tech and Knowledge have been
tremendous improvements as reported by the different local orgs. We ARE
changing our image and our books and creating a more 'theta' atmosphere
so as to attract more 'upstat' VIPs, etc., in the community.
- 9. If the items you listed in the previous question were
changed, would you consider rejoining or staying in the Church of
Scientology? If so, why?
- Oh yes, if well, no, I'd stay regardless but
it'd be nice if we could change this lil thing which so many have been
clamoring as unfair. I'm IN for the duration anyhow! (looking at Meade
Emory)
HIP, HIP!!! :\
- 10. Any additional comments you would like to make?
- Any of you guys seen the latest Tom video? He looks a bit unraveled, doesn't he? I think maybe he's 'unflat' on his OT VII
Maybe he needs to be gotten in for cramming or a repair, perhaps -
maybe he's overrun, who knows?! The TECH will determine. Write in if
you feel this is the case, please. And I'm also a bit concerned about
Travolta - he's being TOO quiet, dont you think? Okay, thanks.
PS I'm IN for the duration like I said but it does get to one a bit
and you do get burnt out after a while of having to smack a few around.
It's like 'they' say: It's a dirty job but Meade would rather I do it.
LoL
