1. How did you first become acquainted with the Church of Scientology?
My friend was staff (Tres sec Chicago org).
I was passing through to Boston. Visited with him. I wanted to stay in Chicago. Long story short. The Chicago Org offered me a job. Flag rep. Same pay as the ED CHI ORG.

Hard to decide but I wanted to stay in Chicago. I eventually decided the money and place was better than Boston. I have written extensively about my story on ESMB. I haven't written it all but if you need to know search for Mest Lover or CLO EUS.

This was my start post there: http://www.forum.exscn.net/showthread.php?15317-Freedom-day-from-SO

That is the foundation post of my story. I wrote as many as I thought needed. I have so many more.

2. What initially appealed to you about scientology?
Money and job.

3. Were there problems in your life that you thought scientology would address?
No. I wasn't interested in the religious aspect at all.

4. Did you see, experience, or hear about things that didn't seem right while you were in the Church of Scientology? What were they, and what convinced you to set aside your feelings?
I was the Security Chief CLO EUS. You bet I did. The constant blows, comm evs, declares, RPF stuff, lowers, sec checks, HCO meter checks, out 2d cycles, invasion of privacy, ethics cycles. On and on et al.

5. Why did you choose to stay in the Church of Scientology?
Fair game policy and SP declare. I didn't want that to happen to me. I decided I had to make them want to get rid of me. The day they told me I wasn't going back to Chicago and my weekly pay would be 30 bucks a week was the day I realized my error and I needed to get out. I needed a Fitness Board. Stupid them, they posted me as their Security Chief.

6. Were you staff or public? If staff, was it at a mission or an org? Were you ever in the Sea Org or OSA? Which unit? If not on staff, did you ever volunteer to 'help out'?
Sea Org, however, due to a flub in routing in I never signed the billion year contract.

7. Why did you leave the Church of Scientology? Was there a "final straw"?
I was blessed by God to have a situation remove me from post. They had me in confusion and assigned me MEST work. I used various stuff to stop them from reposting me. I told them I wasn't eating anything which made me "Unsessionable." So they couldn't emeter me or sec check me. Also, Flag Order #13 has a rider in it that if anyone tried to repost me while I was in lowers that person would be assigned the same condition. About a week later, I acted like I was starving to death and they made arrangements to be holed up in a motel for a week until I could return. Needless to say that never happened. February 7, 1991 I walked out free. Lots more to that story, go read on ESMB.

8. Do you think the Church of Scientology needs to change some of its practices? If so, what should be changed? How did those practices affect your life?
It needs to be ended. Lies and life it ruins.

9. If the items you listed in the previous question were changed, would you consider rejoining or staying in the Church of Scientology? If so, why?
Fuck no.

10. Any additional comments you would like to make?
If you were a CLO EUS member and knew me feel free to contact me. I knew more than I ever let anyone else know.
