1. How did you first become acquainted with the Church of Scientology?
I was a walk-in. I saw one of the members outside giving away a flying and was curious. Then I went to see a film and I had to take a personality test.

2. What initially appealed to you about scientology?
How the mind functions and the way it creates emotions.

3. Were there problems in your life that you thought scientology would address?
All the drama I went through during my childhood and when I was a teenager. Plus some of the things I was going through in college and at work.

4. Did you see, experience, or hear about things that didn't seem right while you were in the Church of Scientology? What were they, and what convinced you to set aside your feelings?
Well FIRST off... I was harassed by some young kid about buying the book, which I did the following week. SECOND thing was... When my session was over and I wanted to take the rest of the day to myself, one of the head supervisors told me that I can't leave. So I'm thinking to myself WHAT? IS THIS GUY SERIOUS? THIRD... I was tricked into joining staff and I glad I didn't follow through with it. She asked me if I was still looking for a job and I said yes. So she showed me a whole bunch of films on Scientology and she wanted to set up a whole set of appointments to get me processed. I suffered from depression and penile erection dysfunction for almost two weeks. I also had to go to the org during the holidays when it was crowded in Times Square.

5. Why did you choose to stay in the Church of Scientology?
I thought it was a sure fire way to get help instead of going to a psychologist. I don't trust the mainstream healthcare.

6. Were you staff or public? If staff, was it at a mission or an org? Were you ever in the Sea Org or OSA? Which unit? If not on staff, did you ever volunteer to 'help out'?
Public.

7. Why did you leave the Church of Scientology? Was there a "final straw"?
I left the church because things were starting to fall into place. I was being "harassed" by one of the recruiters in the org. When the org had an event in January, I was racing down the stairs to head out to enjoy the rest of my day. Suddenly out of nowhere, one of the recruiters came through the door on the second floor to ask me if I was still going to the event when she knew she signed me up. She saw me getting mad and asked me if i was getting upset and I told her no. But I now realize that Scientology is nothing more than a money making enterprise which must be stopped.

8. Do you think the Church of Scientology needs to change some of its practices? If so, what should be changed? How did those practices affect your life?
YES!!!!
CHANGE YOUR ETHICS AND STOP USING GULLIBLE PEOPLE.
STOP TAKING PEOPLES MONEY AND BREAKING UP FAMILIES.

9. If the items you listed in the previous question were changed, would you consider rejoining or staying in the Church of Scientology? If so, why?
NO.
L. RON HUBBARD IS A FRAUD.
I WILL NEVER JOIN SCIENTOLOGY AGAIN.

10. Any additional comments you would like to make?
STAY AWAY FROM SCIENTOLOGY!! GOOGLE SCIENTOLOGY AND START RESEARCHING.
