1. How did you first become acquainted with the Church of Scientology?
Relative showed me an E meter, then personality test and comm course

2. What initially appealed to you about scientology?
Lots of young exotic people about my age, very international.

3. Were there problems in your life that you thought scientology would address?
I wanted to be made straight, but never discussed that I wasn't, it was a secret hope, and one I was not prepared to talk to anyone about.

4. Did you see, experience, or hear about things that didn't seem right while you were in the Church of Scientology? What were they, and what convinced you to set aside your feelings?
The level of antagonism was horrific. Being thrown in the lake twice was very nasty. Being told to disconnect from my wife and kid was insane. Being told to order the class 4 org I was in to pay for me to fly to get a comm ev was nuts, they couldn't even pay their staff. All church solutions seem to be unusual. During big production push in class 4 Org we were not allowed to moonlight, no pay, I starved lost a lot of weight and hallucinated due to hunger and lack of sleep.

5. Why did you choose to stay in the Church of Scientology?
All my goals were invalidated, I had no purpose in life. I had a kid and if I left and my ex wife stayed she and the kid would have to disconnect from me.

6. Were you staff or public? If staff, was it at a mission or an org? Were you ever in the Sea Org or OSA? Which unit? If not on staff, did you ever volunteer to 'help out'?
Org staff then CLO staff.

7. Why did you leave the Church of Scientology? Was there a "final straw"?
Yes being told to leave the Mrs, I would then have no point in being in the country, they would expel me and I couldn't pay support money as a SO member. They would go very hungry.

8. Do you think the Church of Scientology needs to change some of its practices? If so, what should be changed? How did those practices affect your life?
Don't run an Org if there's no money to support it including paying real pay. Close down the Management Orgs and stop payments to flag etc, let the orgs run on their income. Rehabilitate any SO members that don't just want to walk out with good food and sleep have group counselling sessions to get off upsets and let them go with money from SOR. No freeloader bills for any staff. If someone wants to leave let them go after filling in a form like this just to work out what's wrong with the Org.

9. If the items you listed in the previous question were changed, would you consider rejoining or staying in the Church of Scientology? If so, why?
No never, I no longer believe a word of it.

10. Any additional comments you would like to make?
Let any staff go that want to, with no drama.
