1. How did you first become acquainted with the Church of Scientology?
Old friend bought Dianetics, I read it. She was told that 'to go clear would take 40 hours of co-auditing per week for 3 months.'

I told her it must be a 'cult'. We parted. I kept the book. Years later, I re-read Dianetics, and wanted to get 'some Dianetics' auditing. Got one session and they regged me for purif, because I had a 'drug' history. I'd already been a vitamin fanatic but another body cleanse seemed OK. Turns out my body was toxic with products I had worked closely with. After the purif, I felt great, wrote an incredible success story, and they regged me onto a staff contract.


2. What initially appealed to you about scientology?
Going clear and thus having an eidetic memory. i.e. total recall, raising my IQ

3. Were there problems in your life that you thought scientology would address?
Lack of a stable relationship with women. I was ready to settle down and start a family.
Health fears after the loss of both parents.
Return of my nearly eidetic childhood abilities.


4. Did you see, experience, or hear about things that didn't seem right while you were in the Church of Scientology? What were they, and what convinced you to set aside your feelings?
Right from the get go. Regging me onto another service before I'd had any success with the first one. The only Dianetics session I got was 'squirrel' tech. Keeping a written record of a Div 6 Dianetics session. Where's that in Dianetics, tech, or policy. It isn't.

The great lie that reading the May 91 Time Magazine article without being OT3 will make you very sick and may kill you. I read it. Never been healthier.

'Screaming' sessions with the ED for off-policy and out-tech. What Marty Rathbun calls 'Black Dianetics'! Was it ever present in that org!(The ED got declared years after I left) And approx. 1000 more examples of abuse and out-tech too numerous to mention without writing a 'tome' (which I might)


5. Why did you choose to stay in the Church of Scientology?
So much tech to learn. I wanted to become a Class VIII auditor and clear the planet. The reg found a massive help button to push any time I doubted what I was doing.

6. Were you staff or public? If staff, was it at a mission or an org? Were you ever in the Sea Org or OSA? Which unit? If not on staff, did you ever volunteer to 'help out'?
staff. org. no. (It's weird to state that thankfully I did LSD years before when it was in vogue, so they couldn't get me into the sea org)

7. Why did you leave the Church of Scientology? Was there a "final straw"?
No staff auditing up the bridge.
IAS meetings to max out credit cards.
Regging staff for money to pay the rent.
Sea Org 'a'hole' I wanted to punch the lights out of.
The last straw was when an overregged public committed suicide, and the ED said callously,'the coward dropped the body'
I then decided to and did read entheta books on Hubbard's real life, did the doubt condition almost completely, but didn't announce it, ... just left in disgust.


8. Do you think the Church of Scientology needs to change some of its practices? If so, what should be changed? How did those practices affect your life?
Virtually all of it.
For starters ...
Immediate seizure of all assets of David Miscavige, personal and private. Terminate Miscavige and eliminate his position. Formation of an independent board of extremely well educated WOGs, with perhaps Marty Rathbun and Mike Rinder included, to direct the full implementation of the following. Publication of all real active COS participant numbers. Div 4 public. Div 6 public. staff. their training and processing levels (anonymously). Temporary revocation of COS' charitable donation status in the few countries where it is. Repatriation of all Sea Org children to proper schools of learning. Reuniting of all families separated regardless of their cause. Make it illegal for any staff and Sea Org members to possess or fire a weapon of any kind. Worldwide public apologies for all human rights abuses with full court confessions of all crimes. Let the courts decide on the jail times and punishments. Sale of all buildings to be distributed to pay former and current staff for punitive damage and legislated wages and forced abortions and full refunds for any public, past and present, who request it in a negotiated class action lawsuit. Thorough medical
examinations for anyone whose ever been on the Freewinds and exposed to the blue asbestos therein. Publication of all real active COS participant numbers. Div 4 public. Div 6 public. staff. their training and processing levels (anonymously). Eliminate all policy and tech that remotely violates any of the laws of any country they're located in. All services are paid for by whatever one wishes to donate for the services. Each according to their desire and ability to pay with severe penalties for coercion of any kind. And if it doesn't survive after this. It wasn't meant to be. There's still the freezone.


9. If the items you listed in the previous question were changed, would you consider rejoining or staying in the Church of Scientology? If so, why?
Maybe. I've studied several spiritual technologies that appear to be light years ahead of Scientology tech. I'll examine Scn tech further when item 8 is done to the end phenomena, at which time, the next level of corrective can be determined by the board to arrive at a worldwide publically respected ethical and honest organization that can be statistically proven using calculus significance tests.
