- 1. How did you first become acquainted with the Church of
Scientology?
- Ex - wife (she wanted to be a lifer in the cult, let's face it some people are meant to be sheep) was intro'd to Dianetics on a plane by Denice Duff.
- 2. What initially appealed to you about scientology?
- Self Help or so I thought.
- 3. Were there problems in your life that you thought
scientology would address?
- No. I just wanted to be the best I could be.
- 4. Did you see, experience, or hear about things that didn't
seem right while you were in the Church of Scientology? What were
they, and what convinced you to set aside your feelings?
- Yes, the constant anti scientology articles kept getting published and I finally starting asking questions but not one even got addressed. I was told by Kathy True of OSA that she was not going to address any of them and I was repeatedly asked to give up overts. The Tampa Org went 'st. hill size' but the membership never grew. Instead they had Flag public come to course to push stats which is against policy. So I kept these inside until I left recently.
- 5. Why did you choose to stay in the Church of
Scientology?
- Fear of loss of marriage, friends, economical livelihood.
- 6. Were you staff or public? If staff, was it at a mission or
an org? Were you ever in the Sea Org or OSA? Which unit? If not on
staff, did you ever volunteer to 'help out'?
- I joined 3 times and quit a week later each time.
- 7. Why did you leave the Church of Scientology? Was there a
"final straw"?
- Yes, I realized that hubbard's 'the best way to trap a thetan is a mystery sandwich' finally got to me. That quote explains the secrecy of the bullshit levels. I also knew I would never want to pay 500k to go up a bridge that didn't exist. I finally made a decision that I am OT and I do not need a cert to prove it. They never answered my questions which made me certain that they had something to hide.
- 8. Do you think the Church of Scientology needs to change some
of its practices? If so, what should be changed? How did those
practices affect your life?
- Yes, they need to wipe out the entire upper bridge because it is bs. They need to just stick with the basics and they will be bigger than they are today. They also need to quit lying about compatibility with other religions. Hubbard says on OT8 Jesus loved young boys. Hubbard slams religion when he says it is an implant on OT3. So they are lying. They need to get on the same page of 'are they a religion? a science? a philosophy? an applied religious philosophy?'
- 9. If the items you listed in the previous question were
changed, would you consider rejoining or staying in the Church of
Scientology? If so, why?
- sure. then the would truly be just self improvement self help.
- 10. Any additional comments you would like to make?
- put their ethics in by protesting on the select dates. hubaard says, 'when the individual, group can't put ethics in on himself the group practices justice and puts ethics in on him.' paraphrased. Also, OSA if you are reading this then I am putting you on NOTICE: I am exercising my 1st ammendment right which I know will not hold up in a defacto court. But, I claim it at this time. Should any indiviudal use any of the information above from this interview to attack me, harm me or balck pr me, slander me , libel me, use any of my folder against me, then I will find out who that individual is and sue them individually.
